What Is BioFreeze?
Biofreeze is a topical analgesic that uses the cooling effect of menthol, a natural pain reliever, to soothe minor muscle and joint pain. It penetrates quickly, offering relief through cold therapy.
How Does BioFreeze Work?
When Biofreeze is applied, menthol binds with temperature-sensitive receptors in the skin. Activating these receptors is thought to modulate pain signals through the body’s natural pain-relieving systems.

What is cupping supposed to do?
According to its advocates, cupping is supposed to promote healing and has been used extensively for sore muscles. It softens muscle tissue and helps to relieve muscle knots which results in looser feeling, more flexible muscles. Cupping usually targets muscle groups that are prone to tightness such as the hamstrings, the adductors and the back and shoulder muscles.
In addition, cupping is thought to improve digestion through relaxing the whole body. Stress, anxiety, and muscle tension can lead to congestion and stagnation in the digestive system. Cupping is thought to release this stagnation.
Others get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and wellbeing. Cupping is thought to draw blood to the affected area, reducing soreness and speeding healing of overworked muscles. Benefits can include increased lymphatic flow, soft tissue release, loosening of connective tissue and increased circulation.
Cupping has also been used to help with:
- Back and neck pain
- Skin diseases such as acne and hives
- Lowering cholesterol
- Knee arthritis
- Improving immune function.
Dry Cupping therapy is ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. It has been popular in Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures going back thousands of years, but increasing numbers of people worldwide have been adopting it. In fact, it has become extremely popular with celebrities and Olympic athletes as well as many famous people around the world.
Dry cupping is used for the treatment of common cold, relaxing the body from tension, and waking up the energy by using a modifying technique.
