Covid-19

Your safety, health and wellness has always been our top priority.

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, we have taken extra set of measures and protocols to ensure the safety of
our staff, clients and guests which meet and, in many cases, exceed DC Department of Health guidance.

Some of the measures and protocols implemented for our staff include:

  • Staff are always required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including face masks, face shields and gloves during work hours.
  • Daily temperature checks for all staff members.
  • Hand washing and sanitizing before and after each service.
  • Thorough wipe down of work areas and surfaces.
  • All tools are disinfected prior and after every service using CDC approved disinfectants and solvents.

In addition, we have taken several measures and protocols to help keep our clients and guests safe, some of which are:

  • Prior to visiting the store, we ask you to please wear your mask as it is mandatory.
  • When inside the store, you will be asked to wash your hands thoroughly or use hand sanitizers provided at each of our front desks’ stations.
  • Our Front Desk staff will take your body temperature prior to your service.
  • All clients and guests will be asked to fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire which will include questions about any possible exposure to COVID-19.

Please make sure to indicate whether you had one or more of the following symptoms prior to your service:

  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Sore throat
  • Unexplained loss of taste
  • Loss of smell
  • Headache
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Also please make sure to inform us if you have recently been in contact with anyone who has developed these symptoms or tested positive for the coronavirus? 

Anyone who screens positive or develops symptoms will be refused entry and advised to seek appropriate medical care. If a client feels unwell or develops any symptoms within 12 hours of an upcoming appointment, the cancellation charge will be waived, as the health and safety of our clients and staff is our priority.

Reminder: Please always keep your mask on before and during your service. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after service.

Waiting for appointments is not allowed and physical distancing will be enforced in all common areas. Additionally, we have limited the number of guests in our salon and spa to allow for physical distancing.

Hand sanitizers are available in all treatment rooms and throughout the salon and spa. Disinfectants and solvents used are EPA-approved for use against the COVID-19 virus and other viruses. In addition to those necessary and precautionary COVID-19 measures, we have upgraded our store and installed:

  • Sneeze Guards at both of our store’s Front Desks’ stations.
  • Signs displayed in the entire store about social distancing, use of Masks and CDC COVID-19
    precautionary steps to keep you and staff safe.
  • Digital signage reminding guests of social distancing, washing of hands, masks and other CDC
    precautionary measures.

And because we care about your safety and the safety of our team:

  • We added protective barriers between every hair station
  • We also added protective plastic barriers between every Pedicures chairs and Nails stations and chairs along with:
  • Sneeze Guards at every Nails stations which can protect clients and technicians during service.
  • A New Air Circulation system that keeps the flow of air continuously moving and fresh.
  • We use CDC approved disinfectants solutions and solvents on all surfaces, equipment, staff tools and chairs and foot bowls.
  • Our Support staff and Front desk staff sanitize all high traffic and high-touch areas at least hourly. High-touch areas include doors, doorknobs and handles, chairs, light switches, hand railings, bathroom and kitchen sink handles, toilet flushes, pens, payment devices and stands.
  • Staff are utilizing an additional single-use disposable protective sheets on treatment table and service beds while on other service tables, we use freshly washed and sanitized laundered linens.

For additional safety, we removed:

  • Magazines
  • Brochures and other collateral material
  • Glass cups and replaced them with disposable ones
  • Product testers

Finally, for extra safety, privacy, and relaxation, we added:

VIP rooms on all our salon and spa floors. Our Nails VIP room which can be booked for singles or couples and away from the crowds and guests at the store, offers a variety of top leading Nails polish brands and colors such as: CND, OPI, Chanel, Louboutin, Organic and CBD Nails Polish. In Addition, you get to choose from variety of soft drinks, coffee, tea, and bottled water or enjoy (1) one complimentary glass of champagne or wine, served with snacks from the mini bar.

Enjoy this VIP experience with free WiFi and thousands of movies and TV Series to choose from provided to you by Netflix. On the main Hair Salon level, we added another VIP room that gives total privacy when it comes to hair styling, haircuts, makeup, and eyebrows waxing. Enjoy this service in complete privacy and seclusion.

Enjoy our private VIP massage therapy room for you and/or your significant other. Book a single or couples massage and choose one that soothes your body and relaxes your muscles in complete privacy and tranquility.

If that is not enough, then enjoy the utmost level of relaxation by booking our VIP Sauna and body scrub lounge. Housed on the top floor and in complete privacy and away from all crowds for total privacy and peace. Choose from a menu of services and add-ons to help you relax and have a great atmosphere to
unwind. While you relax, choose from variety of soft drinks, coffee, tea, and bottled water, served with snacks from the mini bar.

All VIP rooms come with an additional $25 charge per use/service.

For your safety and safety of others, VIP rooms are disinfectant and thoroughly cleaned before and after each service. Please allow enough time when booking the VIP rooms as it will take us up to 15 minutes to clean and sanitize each room along with equipment, tools, and surfaces.

We truly work hard and strive to make Spa Logic safe for our team, our clients, and guests. We know that some of these adjustments can be difficult at times, but we sincerely appreciate your adherence to our protocols. Remember it is for your safety and the safety of others.
